How much money does Mn Hockey give to this program? It seems less and less Mn kids are in this program. Could this money stay here and be better spent for Mn kids?

my guess

I've assumed the NTDP is funded by USA Hockey and not contributions from its affiliates.

It would only take 2-3 Minnesota players annually on each team to be 'fairly represented'. Don't they average that?

I don't believe there is any stipulation on number of kids from any state. NTDP seeks the nations best hockey players. NTDP looks to develop the best by training, playing a Jr. schedule and play against the best of other countries.

I'm sure there could be multiple reasons, but does anyone know why

Bjorn Krupp,
Beau Schmitz, and
Zach Golembiewski

were replaced by

John Ramage,
Brendan Rempel,
John Henrion, and
Chris McCarthy?

Can you get booted for on-ice performance or are these all personal choice, off-ice discipline, or injury related?

I believe all three left to play major junior hockey in Canada.

Great! Thanks. That's gratitude I guess. USA Hockey pours a ton into these kids and they think the grass is greener. Maybe it is a good thing because it lets a few others go through Ann Arbor.
