Looks like he has signed now for the maximum a 2005 draftee can make as a rookie. 3 years, $850,000 per with an $85,000 signing bonus. Congrats to him, I'm with SB as i was getting very tired of watching Sux hockey.

Actually the signing bonus is $255,000 ($85K per year for 3 years). On top of this signing bonus and base salary, as a 1st round draft pick, he will have incentive bonuses that will increase his annual income significantly if he reaches them.

I understand you'd be jealous he wasn't a Gopher (or whoever your college team of choice is) but a piece of trash? Seems a bit uncalled for.

Agreed. Nice kid. Had the chance to speak with him when he was a senior. Like I said, nice kid, nice family. Congratulations and good luck.

Don't take it so personally. Or so seriously. Ease up a bit.

Not sure how i took it personally, but whatever...seems a little strange to call him a piece of trash for no reason, after all he is a minnesotan headed for the NHL, why show support?

No reason? Ha!

And I agree, why show support?
