Who will be looking good in this section next year?
Players to watch?
Which team will be playing at the "X" in March?

Or was it "The City That Lost"?

The favorite has to be Centennial, returning Pitlick, Hess, and Lovick. The only question mark will be goaltending.
The dark horse here might be Maple Grove. They were a team without seniors last year. And again, goaltending might be in question.
Blaine also could have a strong year with both Hollerud and Harper being extremely capable.
Just my two cents.

all teams suffer big losses. its gonna be a down year. i still see blaine and centenial as the favorites with osseo as the sleeper.

A huge question mark for Osseo is their goaltender. He will give up at least 3-6 goals a game.

IMHO Centennial and Blaine are coached very well. Both teams have talent, but they seem to be led by fine coaching staffs. This item accounts for much of each programs success over the years. Osseo, Rogers and Maple Grove will be right behind, each program has alot of talented players. Good Luck to all in the upcoming season.

You're off your rocker with that one. If anything I would say they have a ton of talent. Will they compete and one of them win the conference, probably YES, because of the talent level. But to suggest that the coaches they have in place currently are some sort of geniuses is a laugh. Any coach that has talent like these 2 assoc. do better win and at a high level or they will be gone, which is why the centennial coaches may be feeling the heat.

No question both teams have talent. But if you have a coach that either doesn't know how or has lost the desire to build a winning program, a team with plenty of talent can be wasted. There are plenty of examples of that. Both the Blaine AND Centennial coach not only have the desire to win, but they actively promote their kids for Elite and Model camp type of opportunities as well as any way they can with colleges. I'd take either coach.

Theres no question that this is centennials year to win it. This will be almost the exact same team that won the A Bantam title over Edina. Im seeing a rematch of that game for this years state championship with Edina also having loads of talent.

I thought people said their year was last year

Guys- it's a long summer and it's easy to believe that this year will be better than the last...

Where's the love, 28 votes so far, with Irondale and North Metro with votes, and last seasons #2 seed has yet to be thrown a bone - OUCH.
