Concussions & Mouthgaurds

Hey ladies snap up those helmets and face guards tight and put your mouth gaurds in even in practice.
One of the top HS players on the eastside is recovering from a Level 3 concussion from a collision at spring CODP. All innocent enough but no mouthgaurd and and a loose helmet have knocked this player out of Phase tryouts - she was an NDP player last year.
As parents and coaches we probably need to take this as another reason to get our kids to do the right thing.....but players do the right and protect yourself....this player faces a 4 week or longer recovery.
