the tie breaker is most wins. not season series between 2 teams. colorado still gets the tie breaker because they had 1 more win then the flames
Tie Breaking Procedure
If two or more clubs are tied in points during the regular season, the standing of the clubs is determined in the following order:
1. The fewer number of games played (i.e., superior points percentage).
2. The greater number of games won.
3. The greater number of points earned in games between the tied clubs. If two clubs are tied, and have not played an equal number of home games against each other, points earned in the first game played in the city that had the extra game shall not be included. If more than two clubs are tied, the higher percentage of available points earned in games among those clubs, and not including any "odd" games, shall be used to determine the standing.
4. The greater differential between goals for and against for the entire regular season.

I wish #4 was points differential. Meaning fewer points allowed in the standings, winning more in regulation. They could make goal differential #5.

can anyone tell me why the fans have to wait so late to find out the schedule? The Phoenix-Anaheim game is meaningless so why can't they announce the schedules in the early evening?

Wild.com says that Either 45 or FSN North will broadcast the games so pretty much the Wolves or Twins are getting Bumped a few times, Plus The Twins Can go to my 29 so the Wild can go on FSN North, and Who cares about the Timberwolves, their season is over, the Wild's is not, Show the Wild.

Wild.com has official TV Schedule up. 45 will televise 1,3,5,7. 5 & 7 if necessary. FSN North has 2,4,6. Game 6 if necessary. Versus is blacked out in Twin Cities DMA when games are on 45 & blacked out to the whole Wild viewing area when games are on FSN North.

This statement is untrue. No Wild for Dish Network subscribers. This blows as half the series seems to be on Ch. 45. They wonder why people don't watch?
