Looks like they had a hard time scoring, as they outshot Connecticut 34-8, including 27-3 in the second two periods.

It is to bad both U19 and U16 teams outplayed opponents but couldn't get to the finals.

Interesting to note Corinne Henning of Como in St. Paul played in the National Championships - U19 for Little Ceasers - they lost to the Kendall Coyne lead Mission team 2-1 in 3OT in the Chamionship games today despite outshooting Mission big time in second half of game an OTs. Corinne was a top HS scorer as a 8th grader for the St. Paul Blades. She won a full academic award to Culver Academy where she has played the last two seasons. She was a '92 NDP from Minnesota last summer at St. Cloud. She comes home and skates in the summer with the St. Croix Saints. Great kid.

So how did Corinne play for Little Caesars when she played a full season at Culver? Was she a playoffs-only ringer? Wasn't Culver in the same tournament?

Culver does not register as a national tourney eligible team. They do not compete for the national title. Therefore Corinne could roster w/ Little Caesar's. Great job Corinne!!!
