I want to thank all of those who listened in during our Hockey Zone Sectional Coverage and of course our state tournament coverage.

The broadcasts were a resounding success with phenomonal numbers received over the course of the tournaments. All those long days and little or no sleep were well worth it.

E-mails came in from people listening in from all 50 states and over 15 different countries. Companies piped in the broadcast into their offices during the work day as well.

So as a hockey fan and part of a broadcast team we want to thank all of you who happened to log on during our coverage. Without you the fans we would not have been able to do this. THANK YOU ALL!

I just want to point out that when I told you the Caribbean was wearing Hill-Murray Green, claiming they may be Roseau or Edina fans was flat out wrong.

Well at least this time...

I have to credit the people that did the online audio broadcasts, they did a great job and really put a lot of enthusiasm into it.
Plus they weren't partial to one team or another.
Nice job and thanks! :D

Yes...thank you MSBN! you make hockey around the state so much more accessible. It was a lot of fun to listen to intelligent, detailed commentary during many of the section tournaments in the Cities. Keep up the good work, because next year I'm probably gonna have to rely on you for everything!

The broadcasters were excellent. We hooked in speakers to all computer terminals and had coverage on at our shop through the entire 4 day broadcast. Without you, we wouldn't have been able to hear the games.

Thanks!

I listened to some secton tourney games and I was very impressed. I found myself prefering to listen to them on MSBN than try and watch the choppy video feed on myfoxhockey.com.

Keep up the good work and thank you!

THANK YOU MSBN!

I want to thank YOU, MSBN, for bringing us all of the games you did! I wasn't able to make some of the section tournament games or the state tournament games due to work commitments, and like many, we can't watch tv during work, so you were a Godsend!

You really added a lot to the hockey tournament this season, and I can't wait for your coverage to begin again next year! As some have already said, your announcers were very professional and knew the game of hockey well (even the one that kept saying he was a basketball guy and didn't...in fact, he probably called the best games of all!)

Your show on 95.3 during the section tournament was also extremely well run, and I'm looking forward to you running that again next year as well! This area has been hurting for more coverage of high school sports for many years, and you have filled a giant void!

I did tune into some of the other coverage on foxhockey, and they don't hold a candle to you guys! You were great, and I can't wait for your coverage again next year! Congratulations for a great tournament!!

Great Job! I loved that I didnt have to surf around the net looking for what station had what game....It was so easy that you guys had every game on and I coudl listen to it in my office and not have to find the game on a different station every time a different team was playing...That and it was an awesome anouncing job! ps...please keep it free next year too! haha

Keep in mind, however, that with the Boys Basketball tournament yet to come the delivery of the CD will likely be after that.

Again another thank you to anyone that listened to MSBN throughout our 2008 hockey season. The response was amazing from our listeners and we are continuing to try and make MSBN the broadcast home for Minnesota high school athletics on the web. I encourage everyone to listen throughout the year to all of our broadcasts (not just hockey) and visit our sponsors websites and check out their products and services. They made it possible for MSBN to provide the level of games and the enthusiasm that it takes to go non-stop during tournament time. Thank you again and if anyone is interested in purchasing a CD of any of our games email msbnchannel1@yahoo.com. Also if you know of anyone that would like a GREAT bang for their advertising buck, MSBN always has room for more great sponsors (sorry, shameless plug). Thanks again and keep your sticks on the ice.
