Does anybody else find his voice to be annoying?
Everything he pronounces is strung out. Driving me crazy.

That's what I was wondering. Isn't this the guy that did the Class A tournament and the other-better guy did Class AA and when it was a 1 class tournament.

I love Dave Wright's announcing. Maybe its just me but it always reminds me of tourney time when i hear him announcing the rosters of each teams

I know Dave a bit and talked to him last week. At that time he was only planning on doing the "A" games. I'm guessing something may have happened to Dick Stanford that he is unable to make it.

Put Dave Wright's voice in the coliseum during the sectional playoffs and it can't be beat. There is something about that guy in the playoffs...I've been in love with his announcing ever since I first heard him.

When they had 3AA & 4AA at coliseum he was great. Just was part of the section playoff atmosphere.

I used to get my hair cut by the same barber-although now it looks like he might not need it
had many great sports stories to tell. I know he used to work for the St. Paul Saints and with the U in some capacity. Also has a column in the Highland Villager.
I know one thing when I hear his voice......its tourney time!
Miss Dick Stanford's voice though....kind of old school for me.

Dick Stanford, this guy is awesome at announcing. I could listen to this guy all day. Stanford is 100 times better than Dave Wright.

Dave Wright brings some color in to PA announcing, that Stanford guy has a very smooth and relaxing voice but Dave has that "it" factor, plus it looks like he's loving every minute of it

I love the way he announces and look forward to that more than anything else about the hockey tourney every year
