Which sections have received NDP Phase 1 letters?

No letters received in our section yet that i know of. Would be interested in finding out whether other sections have received letters of invitation to the NDP Phase 1 tryouts? Please post here if girls in your section have gotten letters.

To start things off I see that Section 4 letters have begun to arrive.

And it was previously reported that District 6 letters went out for the 1993 birthdates.

Thanks!

Either you all are really quiet. Or there aren't many letters that have gone out yet?

Any other sections have their invites yet?

Still waiting for NDP Phase 1 letters in our section.

Is it true that only sections 2, 4 and 6 are out?

Seems awfully presumptive of Minn Hockey to assume that every player's calendar is open when it's only what - 3 weeks away to phase 1?

As far as I know all of the section 8 letters are out and so are the district 16 letters for 1993's.

I'm new here and am sorry if this is posted on the wrong thread. My daughter, a freshman, received a letter to tryout for the 1993 select 15's. We are obviously new to high school hockey and I'm wondering if someone can explain what this program is all about. Thank you!

This thread has a lot of information:

Brochure is online for Girls Advanced 15-16-17:

My daughter did the program and I highly recommend the process.

Good luck!

Thanks for the info Joe! When we first received my daughter's letter we just thought it was for a tryout for a Showcase or AAA team. After reading more about it, it sounds like a lot more than that. Don't know what my daughter's chances are of making the team, but she's looking forward to the ice time, seeing some old friends, and meeting girls her age from other teams. It will be fun for her even if she doesn't make it. Thanks again!
