This is where Falls weak schedule could come back and haunt them. This will no doubt be the best game all season and Sandstrom who was shaky against Two Harbors 3 shots 2 goals allowed will have to step up like he was before the season was over.

Broncos-2
Jackets-4

I'll take the Falls on this one, if you were actually at the last match up between these teams, you would know that the refs were all for Hibbing.

Hart just played an outstanding game against Roseau, and he's got it in him to do it again. The Broncos will pull through, especially after their domination of Ely.

Falls 5-3

Flannel Jackets: 3 EN

I would hope any team that played a game 18 minutes shorthanded would get outplayed  Falls 5 Hibbing 2

Pacman is dead right. Blaming the officials for a loss is the oldest trick in the book - what a bunch of whiners. Come to the game and play with the rules the refs are running with that night. If your team plays with the same mentality it will be a long night for the I. Falls club. They appear to have the more talented team and with the 'Jackets allegedly running shorthanded due to some suspensions, they should end up on top.

Falls is afraid. Thats the bottom line they've played a weak schedule and they lost last time they played Hibbing. The Jackets are playing some of the best hockey right now. Falls may be the favorite on paper but Hibbing will take it to them.
Jackets win 4-2 with an EN. Oh yea and Ladd Corrin cant stay out of the box so Hibbing will be on the powerplay for a good part of the game.
Watch out Falls!

Sounds like a lot of Falls haters just trying to get Hibbing psyched up. Both teams are good and it should be a good game.

By the way, by saying that the Falls' schedule is weak, that is saying that Hibbing, Roseau, Grand Rapids, Hermantown, and Virginia are all weak.

This will be an awesome game. I think the loss Falls suffered to Hibbing wont have them scared in the least bit. If anything I think it will fire up the Falls and act more as a confidence booster. Remember, they say sometimes the best thing that can happen to a good team is for them to lose. I just see Falls having a bit more depth when it comes to scoring. Gotta go with the Broncos of International Falls in this one. This will be a BARNBURNER at the IRA Civic Center!!!!!!!

Broncos of International Falls----3

Bluejackets of Hibbing/Chisolm--2

Hibbing plays a tough schedule. I dont know much about Hermantown or Rapids. I also belive Roseau plays a weaker schedule. And Virginia's schedule is weak.

Jackets always win at IRA. And they find a way to get it done. They've gone to the finals quite a few years in a row. Expect that trend to continue.

Quick, question for ya, GoGoGophers, how many penalties do you think Corrin has this year?

I think you would retract that comment if you knew the answer. Most of your entire post is without merrit - I Falls did not play a cupcake schedule, its not too far behind Hibbing's - the difference is I Falls won their games against most of those opponents, Hibbing did not. Have you spoken with the International Falls players? Did they say they were "afraid"? I'll bet not. That is a rediculous statement.

To put this rediculous schedule strength nonsense to bed, Hibbing's schedule is rated by PS2 at a 16.82, Duluth Marshall is at 16.23, International Falls is at 15.00, and Virginia is at 14.89. Considering the scale goes from 8.06 up to 19.26, do you really think there is that big of a gap? No, there isn't. I've pointed this out before. Some of the traditional teams on Hibbing's schedule had off years and brought their schedule strength back to the pack and the other teams have beefed up somewhat from years past. The difference in schedules in a mere one to three games, depending on which teams are in comparison. That big disparity is gone...

the Broncos aren't scared. they want revenge. the last time they played Hibbing they did not play smart. the penalities got ridiculous, and I don't think they'll ever play way again. go falls

Corrin is a good player dont get me wrong but from what I have seen of him makes me think I have trouble with him staying out of the penalty box.

Yeah corrin had a spree of penalties there for about 3 games, but besides that he rarely gets em.. at most 1 a game. Im gonna say falls-5(en) Hibbing-2
