I was asked to post this on the forum by the committee.
They believe this is an excellent method of getting hockey news out to the public.

Coaches are submitting nominations but players are confirming whether they can participate and some coaches are waiting until that last game.

Not giving all the schools a chance at having a representitive? (Or you may have just missed some) What about someone like Walker's goalie? On a different team he could have some unbelievable stats

It is a Section 8 All-Star game. All teams would be included but as Elliott mentioned they need to be nominated by their coaches.

I don't know, I'd suspect they will go with 12-6-2 but i could be wrong. It should be a great event anyway, some Impressive names should be participating, (Ness, Lehrke, Ravendalen, Olsen, Lee). Can't Wait!

Good idea! But could it get any further north? Any idea on how many of the stars in this section are going to play in the USHL when their HS teams are done playing - and perhaps missing this game?

News Release: The organizers in Warroad are asking, if your son or daughter is picked for this and if they are an underclassman please bring your resume. Be sure to put your child's current grade and their season stats on the cover page. Game films from the season will also be accepted.

Seems like genious thinking by the board to me. Give some good players a taste of a nice rink, show them what they could have...
And BTW, no, it couldn't get any further north, unless you'd like to play in Canada. (there is no rink i'm aware of at the NW Angle)

They don't need to fill out an application it is based on their child's resume alone. Also local real estate agents will be on hand to give you the best deals in the faultering housing market
