Minnetonka will also be very strong they won the Peewee A regular season title when it was this same group.

I think it will be AV and Minnetonka in the championship for district 6

if you look at district 6 standings for pewee a last year Minnetonka won it (14-2)and AV and Edina tied for 2nd at 13-3. They all went 1-1 versus each other. Edina has the best goaltending by far.

Minnetonka may have won the regular season but AV one the playoffs then tonka fell apart in regions

Who won the Peewee A State Championship last season? That should be a good indicator of who will have a good Bantam A team next season.

Wayzata won the PWA tourney in 2007.
Apple Valley was runner-up (I think).

Actually Av will have the best goaltending next year with olson and AV will win the state championship because of strong defense, great goal scorers and just mention again great goaltending!

i believe elk river and rogers both should make a good run. if all kids stay together. Elk river going to state last year and rogers losing to duluth east in OT to go to state. both bantam teams bringin back a strong number of kids at the A level.

Bemidji and Grand Rapids will be the top 2 in the North

Where is Zajac going? Eagan Has 10 first year players on the Bantam A team this year and seem to be doing ok. If all stay they should also be good, they will need to find a goaltender.

For all of you that think Minnetonka will be good next year, your wrong. They had a very good peewee team in 2007 but that will change next year. I think there are 5 first year players that will be back next year. The biggest kid on the Bantam A team does not check, or even use his body he is also a first year. Unless everybody gets bigger besides the big kid(don't know his name), they will be the smallest team in the state by far.
Zajak - varsity?

Are you kidding me...Varsity?
He is way over-rated. He was more dominant when he was a PW because he hit puberty at an earlier age than other kids. Now a ton of kids have caught up to him and surpassed him. (He is not the best even the top player on his team)
His years as PW is what is keeping his repetutation alive.

I see Michaelson getting the call up, but because Gretz is already on Varsity I think it would be smart to leave Olson as a Bantam another year befor ehaving both of them on Varsity together. Smith I could also see getting the call up, it all depends on what Hayes wants to do developing this age group. It's either keep them together and build more chemistry or try and get more Varsity experience under their belts for when they are older. Either way the Apple Valley team should be very good though.

this is a bit of an over statement! Honestly foshodangles? Best goaltending...I don't think so! They only have one good goal scorer that is Michaelson. They have one good defenseman...this is Smith (I Think). A freind of mine was telling me about the PeeWee team coming up. He mentioned that a player named Wallin (I believe his name was) is going to be a huge factor for the bantam A squad. Other than those three pllayers mentioned the team is okay. This site is not made for players to write and boast about their own teams.

the Roch

I believe Rochester will be top 5 next year. They have I believe (correct me if you're from Rochester)..6 first years on one team and another 7 or 8 on the another. So they will bring back approximately 15 kids with solid Bantam experience, including one of the best returning goalies.
They should be good.

there seems to be a lot of AV dads and players on this sight. How about some non biased opinions.
