2nd period was scoreless in Minnetonka.
2-1 lead for the Skippers over the Hornets as we go to intermission.

Valley-15-13-10= 38
AV was the better team in the ifrst meeting and was the better team today also. They deserve the 6 seed and Eagan should get the 7 seed for Sections even though I don't know if thats how it will work out.
Fischer looked very good had about 3 or 4 strong chances for goals in the 1st but only got 1, put the others just wide. Valley could have had more shots some of there better chances they missed the net. Eagan struggled clearing the zone. Physical game lots of stuff after the whistle.

More of the same. Century can't find the net, but they had some impressive moments on defense. Shots were something to the tune of 37-13.

What a great season the Skippers are having...and hopefully this win will quiet the "rube" Edina supporters on this board for maybe a day or two
..athough IMO...the "rube" posters supporting Roseau are almost as bad.
BTW - It should be a great section semi-finals and final featuring Tonka, BSM, EP & Hopkins.
