I heard rumblings about an all star game today. Can anyone confirm this, when, where, who is on what team??????????

That may have just been confusion between the "Great Eight", where the A and AA would combine as one All-Start team.

I have heard of this being discussed in the past. Since CCM does the Iron Range vs Duluth game why not have one of the big companys sponser a border towns vs the rest type of thing.

Why would you participate in an "All Star" game right before play-off time. That would be a dumb idea and I would think that a coach would not allow his STAR player to play when there is a chance they could get hurt.

Well, come on. Does anyone know about this game or is it just a fantasy?

Um, well, it could take place AFTER the season. But, I have not heard of such an event.

This is a go. Warroad is hosting two all-star games. Section 8A girls versus Section 8AA girls and Section 8A Boys versus Section 8AA Boys. This is after the state tourney and for Seniors.

I think the 8A girls have a good chance to take the 8AA girls in this one.

You ever get those emails from South Africa where the guy asks you to cash a $10,000 check and send him $5,000? Those are worded about the same as that comment was....maybe it's just me, made me chuckle a bit though

So how many checks have you cashed?

So if this were to happen who would every one pick to be on the teams. Maybe one 8AA team and one 8A play for a little beat of pride at the end of the season (obviously not before playoffs). Now Roseau is an all star team but lets say the max one team can have on the roster is 6 skaters (not including the goalie).
