Tech is an old native american slang term for Bison, or in this case, Buffalo.
Stick around, I'll teach you something new everyday.

Roseau needs to figure out how to bury the puck a little better. 15 shots a period into the goalie just doesn't cut it this time of year. It has to go behind the goalie to count. Other than a couple times Roseau has not ran the score up. That is getting a little troublesome. Must be a decoy, Last year it was Lee and this year it is low scoring to end the season. Oliver is a master of deception. Well last year anyway, this year it seems a little like the over confidence bubble is ready to burst. Can't take any game for granted. In '99 Apollo took 'em to OT in the final.

The championship game is in St Cloud? Why the change from TRF???

Last year's game was postponed because of bad weather.
Rather than force two teams to drive on a bad day (and available ice), they went to TRF as a compromise.

I believe it was always slated to be held in TRF last year, regardless of weather. I hope they plan on rotating this like the old days.

I guess to me TRF seems like a logical place to hold the game yearly. Plenty of seating. Driving to St Cloud on a Wednesday evening seems crazy to me. Even if having the game in EGF or Bemidji would be more central to the LARGE section.

Unless Buffalo and Monticello are in the finals.

It is scheduled for SCSU unless two northern teams are in the final, then TRF is the location. Moorhead is considered a northern team.

I
believe this is the first-year of a two year trial rotation:
2008 Semi's in TRF, Final in St. Cloud
2009 Semi's in St. Cloud, Final in TRF
If Section 8 retains a similar make-up, I would look for this to be the rotation going forward. Not really based on location, but rather facilities that give the Section semi's and finals some meaning.

For at least two reasons.

I hope you're right. I would love to be able to make the final. But my quote above was from the AD in Roseau.

Call me crazy, but driving to St Cloud on a Wednesday night from Roseau doesn't sound very "Student Friendly"
