If Hibbing can Ride the Momentum, Wouldnt surprise me to see them Upset either Marshall or Virginia in the Final for 7A

Century or Mayo
Jefferson or AHA
Woodbury
Roseville
Osseo
Eden Prairie
Cloquet
Brainerd or Moorhead
I think there will be a couple of lower seeds making it through.

well with htwon probably getting the 4 seed they still have a legitimate shot at state. 1-0 loss to Denfeld, 4-2 (en) loss to SCC, beat Sauk Rapids.

I don't think Hibbing beating Virginia would be much of an upset, I Falls is more realistic in the semi's. 7A and AA both seem to be pretty wide open right now.

AV is ALWAYS up for sections. Lots of teams may lay an egg, but they never seem to lose by more than 1 goal if they do lose. And they've upset AHA when they were supposed to get killed.

i agree with the apple valley call they are a team that plays on pure momentum so if they jump out on a team they could repeat the AHA upset vs one of the big four (Rosemount, Eastview, Woodbury and CDH)
in that section

What is up with the Apple Valley bandwagon? They are not a good team and have NO SHOT of winning their section. They would have to beat two of the following:Eastview (L 7-3 and 6-3), Rosemount (L 5-3 and 5-3), Woodbury, CDH. There best win this year was Lakeville South.

If people are picking them because they pulled some upsets in sections in other years then you have to remember that those AV teams were decent teams. This years is 7-16-1 and has lost 9 of 11 so theres the momentum they can ride into sections!!

They will be one and done.

I thought the same thing, AV has no chance. Even if they pull of one upset, they will not pull off two or three.

I don't think a #2 can be considered "lower seed"
