You think your arena is home to high school's most decorated Zamboni driver? These guys never get the love they deserve. There are some pretty wild fellas out there and they need some recognition. Whether it be a driver that flies solo out there on the ice or a tandem squad that gets the job done, this is the place to let the rest of the Minnhock community know about these guys. Enjoy.

How many other Zamboni drivers give shout outs to student sections? Luigi (Aldrich) for Mr. Zamboni 2008!!

Hands down, Luigi from the prestigious Aldrich Arena. I second that he gives love to White Bears' student section. Who wouldn't though. Not only is he a god amongst men he also works that Zamboni like no other. Lines, straight as an arrow out there. This guy is the man. Some Stillwater "fans" thought they could get all over the glass. Not in Luigi's house. He wasn't having any of that nonsense. When the police posted up at Aldrich failed to get those Pony hooligans off the glass, Luigi took matters into his own hands. He comes bolting down the bleachers and grabs this kid and absolutely makes a fool of him. With one swift movement, Luigi had the kid off the glass and on his a_ _. What a guy.

luigi is his name? ive always thought pedro. But he is good, real good.

What I know about fixing them I've picked up from tinkering and such on the ones that I drive. I have only driven for a handful of high school games this year though, I mostly only drive for the college games at my rink. Honestly, I think Zamman has my vote in this topic!

The driver for Bemidji state games is amazing! Speed yet control. He drifts on the turns.

I have to thank everyone for my votes, but I have to give my props to Richfield's Al Ness. He has been driving at Richfield for over 36 years....He is my hero.

Matt Beckius is one of the all time greats it's to bad he moved up to the college level this year and is now boniing for the Saint Cloud Huskies

I heard this Jughead guy @ the IRC in GR has never had an accident...

Does he get some love for his AAA safety rating?

Walt is an icon in the business and I owe a lot of what I know about ice maintenance to him. He truly is the greatest!

Reed from the Rosemount arena is hands down Mr. Universe when it comes to best Zamboni driver, the way he handles that big rig with such finesse is amazing. Smooth turns and its all business unless he is around the kids, he always throws down a honk of the horn when the kids ask for it. That man is classy.

It's got to go to John Jenderseck at the MAC in St. Cloud. Always 100% focused on the doing his job the best he can. No one can do it like him.
