The DECC, Coliseum, or Mariucci? 7AA, 6AA, 8AA, 2AA,etc., what fans will be the loudest?

I'm going with the Coliseum... Even though it's fully expected, the crowd still always gets hyped up when Johnson puts a foot up HM's arse.

If not that, then I'll go with Mariucci. The best crowd I saw all last year was the during the Burnsville/AHA game. I like the "crossover" that occurs there as one game is wrapping up and the other starts. Edina's student section started filling up as Burnsville was trying to hold on in the 3rd period, and they jumped right in and were pulling for the Blaze louder than their own student section was. It was fun to see.

Similar 2 years ago at the DECC. CEC vs. East in the 1st semi-final. CEC up 1-0 in the 3rd and a bunch of GR fans are already on the CEC side in the first few rows at center ice. Then a ton of Elk River fans piled into the CEC student section and it was much louder, constant chants at East. During the last 8 seconds all the CEC, GR, and Elk River fans were waving bye bye to East. I never saw so many people tell a group they were number 1 before.

Im going with the Coliseum. When White Bear plays Hill for the section championship it is goin to be like the past 2 years. Around 10,000 fans watching and waiting to see who will come out on top and go to state. AND THIS YEAR ITS WHITE BEARS TURN TO GO TO STATE!!

Let him keep thinking that. I don't think he has a concept of how many people 10,000 really is.

Met Center, one class sectionals were the only ones that could've boasted 5 digit crowds.

There is always a solid turnout at the Coliseum and this year will be no different. Of course there will be a huge turnout for the the Hill - White Bear game. WB's consistent section will be there as will Hill's fair weathered fans. I seriously think they only go to section games and/or the regular season match-up between the two teams.

Pretty big assumption to even presume there will be a HM/WBL in the sections.

So let's assume that WBL & Roseville end up #2 & #3 (for the sake of this argument, I'll accept that... #1 Johnson, #2 WBL, #3 Roseville, #4 HM)...

If all of the favorites win in the quarterfinals, #2 will play #3.

You're that confident that WBL will beat Roseville - which they haven't been able to do in regulation this season ?

2 games this season... 2 overtimes. You're sure?

If WBL is fortunate enough to escape past Roseville and get to the section final game, you're still going to need HM to upset Johnson to meet them.

I haven't seen a section game in the DECC but I have in the other three. Speaking from experience, the Coliseum has the best crowds.

i believe the pioneers are up for the challenge. the govs are a tough test but with a little extra coaching and a fresh jeff sonntag off the bench i believe the pioneers can prevail

In the end, we see the Pioneers as a bump in the road toward our ultimate goal of a state title, so it will be a challenge for us to not look past that game. I hope the guys can pull it together long enough to focus.

We were kinda getting at the fact that it has been Hill vs. White Bear for a few years, nothing more. You can calm down Govs.

In other words logic and/or thought has no place in your prediction, only dumb luck?

Ok. Gotcha, chief. Thanks for the profound insight.
