I also managed to get them all right, including the play-in games. The only real upset, if you want to call it that, was Spring Lake Park (seeded No. 9) beating Champlin Park 4-1. I had seen SLP twice this year and thought they would probably win this game.
Tonight we just have the Section 7 quarters plus one final play-in game between River Lakes and Sartell-Sauk Rapids. Friday and Saturday the action really becomes fast and furious!

How is everyone doing with this?
I've been pretty lucky and picked most of the upsets that people are talking about on the other threads. Including play-in games I've got 42 points through yesterday's games (one point each for play-ins and quarters, 2 points each for semi's). So far I've only missed Moundsview's upset win over Irondale (2OT) and the Coon Rapids OT win over Blaine. So for sure I won't get the semi-final winner in the bottom bracket of Section 5AA.
Upsets I've managed to pick correctly were North Metro over Buffalo, CDH over WBL and Spring Lake Park's play-in win over Champlin. Otherwise I went with all the favorites (higher seeds) which have all panned out so far.
Any other reports?

boblee, help me with the math:
Play-in - 5 x 1 = 5
Ist Round - 27 x 1 = 27
2nd Round - 4 x 2 = 8
Doesn't this add up to 40 points? (if section semi's are 2 points each).

I only got 4 points for semi-finals. There was 4 games and I only got two correct. 4 out of a possibly 8 points.

Gotcha.
I guessed right on the 4 played so far, but as I mentioned there is no way I can get the bottom semi in 5AA correct. I suspect others might be in a similar position.

I missed two out of the six semi-final games last night. I had picked Holy Angels to beat Edina in a bit of an upset, but they lost in OT 1-2. Also missed the CDH upset win over Roseville, but was probably not the only one to get this one wrong. Did ANYONE have CDH advancing to the 4AA title game?
So overall headed into tonight I've got:
Play-ins: 6 of 6 = 6 points
Quarterfinals: 30 of 32 = 30 points
Semifinals (so far): 10 of 16 = 20 points (with 3 possible add'l winners)
Total points = 56
P.S. All four of my incorrect picks have been decided in overtime!

It's better to be lucky than good!
First Round (1 pt each) = 28 pts
Second Round (2 pts each) = 22 pts (CDH,Stillwater,EP,Edina,ER,Bemidji,Eagan,Farmington,Mayo,GRG,Cloquet) I still have BSM, Hopkins and Centennial playing tonight.
I guess Blaine won't win the Consolation hardware

and Eastview won't make it to the 3rd place game against CDH

. That will hurt me...

Took a big hit with Roseville and Moorhead, but I’m sure no one could predict what CDH is doing. Hoping MV and Hastings can save me. Have no doubt the lightning and the Eagles will prevail

After tonight's games I am at 65, but I'm completely out of Section 4 as I predicted Roseville would take it. I also had them winning Consolation at State.

I am at 70 points. I had 4 section final winners correct: BSM, EP, Eagan, GRG. In the other sections I had Stillwater (CDH won), Bemidji (ER won), Blaine (Centennial won), and Mayo (Farmington won). I still have my two state championship game teams.

Looks like I finished with 90 points. After having 77 through the sections, I only picked 2 (EP & GRG) of the 4 state quarterfinal games (2 x 4 = 8 ), 1 (GRG) of the two state semifinal games (1 x 5 = 5), and did not pick the state champ (BSM=0). So 77 in Sections +13 in Tourney = 90 total points.
P.S. I wasn't sure how much (if any) the 3rd Place and Consolation games were supposed to count, but I didn't have either of these winners either!
