There glory days are over. Crookston will take them in OT. I thought Crookston was going to be the first team to knock them off. I guess I was wrong.ap4mvp wrote:This loss could send PR into a tailspin for the rest of the season. Be interesting to see how they play against Crookston next week.
Just like the US didn't beat USSR in the semifinals of the 1980 Olympics. The Soviets lost.2minutesforroughing wrote:Just for the record PR didn't beat TRF. TRF lost, they played terrible. I'm not trying to take anything away from PR, but Thief River should have beaten them.
I think we lost 19-1 to Moorhead A's in Pee Wee's...SB24 wrote:Good spin schwang...

Actually, the US-USSR game was not a semi-final. The teams played both opponents from the other pool, and there game against each other was factored in also. US - Gold, USSR - Silver, Sweden - Bronze.
I don't know about the touche' zambini, but the USA USSR was a semifinal.Zamboni Guy wrote:touchéPuckguy19 wrote:Zamboni Guy wrote: Just like the US didn't beat USSR in the semifinals of the 1980 Olympics. The Soviets lost. Please take your sour grapes elsewhere.

They had to beat the Finns in '80 to win the gold. They beat the Czechs for the gold in '60.TTpuckster wrote:I don't know about the touche' zambini, but the USA USSR was a semifinal.Zamboni Guy wrote:touchéPuckguy19 wrote:![]()
