Let's let Grand Rapids play Eveleth and Hibbing first.
Let's let International Falls play Hibbing, Silver Bay and Greenway first.

I look for the Broncos to dominate, especially in their own rink. This has all the makings of a good ol section 7 game of the 70's and 80's!

I think it might come down to that the winner of this game is the winner of the IRC title. If everything works out right for both teams.

Being a Bronco Fan I hope we win but as IRC Champs we don't always fair real well in the post season. Plus it might get the target off of our back. I'd much rather see us beat Roseau.

I can hardly wait. I am planning on making the road trip for this one. Then I'm off to the big lake for a little R.R. and fishing. Go Indians!!!

I would disagree with that. They just pounded their fiercest rival 7-1 Tuesday night - and up until tonight that was the only team that had managed a "W" against the Broncos. I think they had more of an emotional letdown against Hibbing than anything else coming off that big game. It happens quite often at this level.
Grand Rapids, Cloquet, and Hibbing are three teams I just can't peg. Everytime I think one of these teams is starting to roll, they step on a stick and take a tumble. It makes me weary of picking the Thunderhawks in this one. However, the IRC title is likely decided by this one and Grand Rapids always seems to find a way to grab onto a chunk of that title, if not all of it.
On the other hand, I Falls will be hungry after the loss to Hibbing and this game is in their rink. Its a tough one to call...
After much debate amongst me, myself, and I, I'll take the Broncos in overtime 4-3. A tie or a one goal win either way won't suprise me though.

I love how almost everyone is so down on the Falls all over the bored because the lost their second game of the season. Very funny considering the fact that they were suppose to be a .500 team after losing their second leading scorer and probably the best goalie in the state.
Good grief..........

I don't think the Indians have enough offense to score six in this game. I Falls is very good defensively and have only given up more than three goals once this year. (4-0 loss to Ft. Frances). If they boys in orange and white hit six, I will be extremely shocked.

I would agree. Unless the power play starts clicking they won't score six unless they can somehow muster 4 and then toss in 2 ENG. If Rapids realistically wants a shot to win it needs to be something like 3-2.

who is the falls's second leading scorer?
and i agree that Hjelle was the best goalie in the state, but he is off to bigger and better things now! im glad he made the move to CR RR, it was a great move. the only downfall to Hjelle is that he wears RBK's!!!! ARG!!!
EDIT: im not knocking Hjelle for wearing RBK's, i was just making a joke, sorry if that came off wrong.
every goalie has their hates and likes, i used to like RBK, but they have lost favor from me when they made a questionable pad graphic that was "gangsta" like their shoes, and i just lost all faith.
Hjelle has the Turco Breaks, amazingly nice pads, especially when you like to have a narrower B-fly with the break just below the thigh rise and just below the knee, but still keeping the flat face design.
