Can WB win short 3 starters? They need this game to stay in the race.

Hastings will win tonight for 2 reasons. There on a roll, and i don't think W.B is that talented they can afford to lose 3 players and still win. Hastings has 2-3 kids that can play, and they have had some solid goaltending. Do i think Hastings is a better team? No, but tonight they will be.

It is funny what can happen with a hockey team when they have some kids that can't play. Some kids will step up their play and make an impact because their backs are against the wall. If WBL comes in thinking it is us against the world tonight they have a good chance of pulling this one out. So I would have to say it will be a very competitive game and someone from WBL will have a huge game and help them pull this one out in the end.

Who are the starters they lost now? Is this in reference to the 3 that were let go off of the team?
Oops found out why they are off. Missed the post about the fighting

Hastings comes into this game playing with lots of confidence after winning there last 5 SEC games. They played them tight in a 3-1 loss earlier in the year, so it should be a close game again tonight. I still think Hastings comes up short 4-2.

I think AlSecord might be onto something.

White Bear might be inconsistent, but if they come to play they won't have any problem with Hastings.
White Bear 2
Hastings 0

White Bear Lake 6
Hastings 1
Shots 33-20 Bears
Bears played very well in front of Abrahamson. Ryan Wolter best game as a Bear 3 goals and 1 assist. Hastings had some juice in the first but it was all Bears after that.
Casey Gjerde seems to play better every game on D. Big sophomore kid who plays smart and doesn't get rattled.
Always like the games in Hastings because you can listen to the post-game on AM 1460 on the way home. Funny thing is they had commercials for Hisdahl (sp) Trophy and some White Bear restaurants on.
weak game

Hastings had a weak game. Goaltender was a little shaky. WBL scored a couple flukey goals. But they went in so Hastings can't make excuses. WBL has a talented squad. I believe they will win the SEC. I noticed that Waxlax stopped playing in the second period and didn't return. I heard from one of the JV coaches that he left the locker room with all of his equipment. They believe he quit the team.

Well that sounded good at least. Turns out white bear does have enough talent to lose 3 player and still come out with a win. Walters had a gream game and Aberhamson played very solid between the pipes. I was a little supprised with Hastings. They came out fired up but they lost it very fast. For all the hype i've been hearing about Hastings they played extremely disapointing.

Really? I wasn't aware Ryan Walters of STA transferred to White Bear, I thought his next stop was juniors? Maybe you're thinking of Ryan
Wolter?

Waxlax did quit in the middle of the game, definately will hurt the squad. Hopefully he reconsiders, this team has had enough problems this year to have another issue like this. Lets hope the Raiders can rebound

Now he can smoke all he wants! Puts the team in the hole at the start of the season then complains about playing 3rd line. See ya!

I went to the game last night and it seems to me that hastings was disputing the first goal because it did hit the cross bar and come straight up but they called it anyway and hastings fired back but then that waxlax kid killed them, not huslting cause him to have to hook someone passing him and the kid still scored and wax still got a penalty then they scored again the sail was let out right there...i was a little dissapointed i did not get to see the gleisner kid though in nets. kimmes looked weak

Looks like the boys in blue and gold couldn't rebound as quick as I hoped, Forest Lake beat them 7-3 tonight. The Raiders were up 2-0 after the first but then Forest Lake scored 5 unanswered in the second. They pulled Gliesner and put Kimmes in but the Rangers scored 2 more in the third and the Raiders got one but didn't mean much.
Off night for the team after a rough game against WBL. They have till Thursday to bounce back and hopefully give Cretin another loss. I still have faith in this team to get a good section seed and to maybe cause a few more upsets along the way

If anyone cares:
Jeff Taffe just scored for the Pens against the Canadiens. That makes two on the year for him.

Whoever said Hastings was going to win the SEC was on drugs.
