Aren't Marquette and Thunder Bay Teir 1 teams? Why wasn't the Wisc. Fire invited?

Both Marquette and Thunder Bay played in tourneys in Minnesota in December. The Thunder Bay Kings fared better in the early December Duluth Tourney, beating Superior 7-4, Tartan 3-0 and Minnetonka 2-1 in pool play before losing to Edina 12-2 and to Rochester Red 8-4.
The Marquette Team played in the Bemidji Tourney and beat Bemidji 7-2, tying Devils Lake ND 4-4 and Mound Westonka 4-4. They played in the #2 seed bracket play losing to Roseau 8-2 and Grand Forks 5-2.
Marquette should be competitive in the Division A bracket, but Prior Lake played in the Governor’s Cup last week and took second losing to Woodbury in the finals 4-1. Superior is a solid team, but struggling. Originally Chaska was going to be in this group, but that seems to have fallen through. That leaves this pool wide open. Marquette could come out on top.
In Division B, Woodbury and Duluth East should battle it out, but Eastview (just beat Minnetonka 2-0 in D6) and Stillwater can be tough. Woodbury should come out on top.
Division C is the toughest. Wayzata and Eagan met in early November and Wayzata won 4-3. Eagan is about to wrap the D8 regular season title and Wayzata has to be Maple Grove to take the D3 title in about a week. Thunder Bay has a 200 mile drive down the North Shore to make this tourney. The question will be how much have they improved. At this point, the Minnesota Peewee teams are hitting their stride especially Wayzata and Eagan. Eagan should eke out Wayzata here.
