I know the Palm family and Nate is not the kind of kid to come on this board and talk himself up. Mnhockfan373, do the kid a favor and don't post anymore.

Any updates on #9, Mound fans? Will any scouts be able to watch him this year?

Riley went to school with out crutches for the 1st time today. He’s still kind of sore, but it’s getting better. The surgeon in Duluth had originally said it would be early March before he could skate. The doctor at his last visit was more optimistic but didn’t say anything for sure. He has another doctor appt. scheduled for Wednesday (1/23). He’ll recover 100%, just not sure when. If everything goes well, who knows?

There's always a possibility, the seasons long.

He looks a lot better. SHAKEnBAKE pretty much hit it head on with how he's doing. You can tell the team needs him with how he's playing. They are giving up some pretty ugly games, Litchfield is a big example.

9-5-1 is where they sit before the game. Lets make it 10-5-1 =]

I'm Mr. #9, the guy payin the doctor bills. (Riley's dad)

Riley has skated 4 or 5 times and went for some rehab today. He needs to get some strength in his left leg. Would be nice if he could make it back...

Anyone know why the coach would use a roster spot on an injured player?

Looks like they only dressed 18. Probably forgot to cross him of whatever list they gave him.
