1.Rosemount-- 9-2-0 (18pts)
2. Bl.Jefferson-- 8-2-1 (17pts)
t3.Eden Prairie-- 8-2-0 (16pts)
t3.Burnsville-- 8-3-0 (16pts)
5.Eastview-- 7-3-1 (15pts)
t6.Lakeville South--3-7-2 (8pts)
t6.Lakeville North--3-5-2 (8pts)
t6.Eagan-- 4-7-0 (8pts)
t9.Apple Valley-- 3-7-1 (7pts)
t9.Chaska-- 3-7-1 (7pts)
11. Bl. Kennedy 0-11-0 (0pts)
Games this week for top teams-(home team in bold)
Jefferson vs
Rosemount 1/15
Eagan vs
Eden Prairie 1/15
Apple Valley vs Eastview 1/15
Burnsville with the night off on the 15th should maybe mix a few things around, what do people think about the outcomes for the games and as well as the conference playing out?

Big game for Rosemount and Jefferson to see who will take first place as well.

i think one of the top five teams is gonna get hot and start tearing it up and seperate themselves. personal favorites to do so in my opinion are jefferson and burnsville.
Some good hockey to come in the future for the lake conference

Honsetly....any wouldnt be surprised see the winner to be anybody from the EP Burnsville Jefferson Rosemount mix...this is great because it makes these games in January all the more crucial......
My opinion: I think we're gonna watch the race come down between EP and Jefferson....which will be interesting to watch cuz these two teams play each other twice in their last 4 games of the regular season

Jefferson and Rosemount should be a very good matchup.

the schedule worked out in favor of a very exciting and hotly contested finish.

i think this one comes down to the team with the best single player on the team. ep has leddy, so i'd take ep in the end

this one will come down to the team with the best individual player. that means we'll see ep atop the lake at the end of the season

Burnsville has barnes and hendrickson
Jefferson has odonnell
Rosemount has Brown and mcmanus
EP has leddy
Im gonna go with burnsville

GRAF, you seriously need to get off your knees and stop sucking off the players from burnsville. you're basing you're opinions of this burnsville team from last year that made an outstanding run in state. I think it's time for you to wake up and realize that this isn't the same team as last year.

Graf strongly believes that burnsville is the only team in the state.

thats all bville has besides perisic. all those other teams have more than 3 good players. that other guy bville has playing with barnes and hendrickson (comstock i think it is?) could barely crack 3rd line at ep, rosemount, or bj.

Just an overall look on the conference.
It's good to see that the Lake Conference is reestablishing it's name as one of, if not, the best conference in the state. Out of the top 15 teams in the state, there are 5 teams from the lake. Not too shabby.

with the loss of McDuff and there other solid defenseman the blaze hav gotten considerably weaker at defense and has broke the 1st line of Barnes Hendo and Parisec (SPelling) dont get me wrong i can still see them doing damage but right now they look like the weakest team out of those 4...

EV and EP will both win, the Jefferson-Rosemount game will be big for this, all of the games against eachother are huge for the top 5 teams and not to mention if any of these teams slip up against any of the 6-11 teams that very easily could cost them shot at the title.

It's conference play. Congrats you won the Lake Conference... Who cares? That doesn't mean anything if you don't win in sections. Conference play is a JOKE, the whole point in having conferences is to make scheduling easier for teams.
I bet that the team that wins this conference doesn't make it to state, and at least one of the 2nd-5th place teams does. So once again congrats on winning the lake conference, and I'm sorry you didn't make it to state.

I think winning the Lake is a big deal....
its like saying winning the WCHA isnt huge, because it is! If you can take the lake down, it shows you are a top notch team.
I have a feeling you are a former hockey player from a non-conference team who took a beating at the hands of a lake team, sorry bout that hockey is a tuff sport......

It is a big deal. The lake is so competitive, that winning it is a huge thing. It shows how good you are. Its a big deal, but not winning or winning it doesnt get in the way of how important sections are.

Wow... what gave you the Idea that I'm from a NON-LAKE conference school? The fact it says I'm from Brainerd? Was that a big enough clue for you?
And No, I have nothing against any school in the conference. Actually I really like Jefferson, Eastview, and the Lakeville schools.
I just don't get the big deal about winning the conference. I know from my experiences playing sports I didn't care if I won the conference, I wanted to get to/win state. Winning the conference will always get overshadowed by not making it to state. It's a fall-back prize for those teams that do not get to state.

The teams in the lake conference beat on each other year in and year out. It only makes them that much better come section time. Thats why there is usually a lake conference team in the state tourney...besides the holy angels era that dominated for a few years there. considering the lake is usually one of the toughest conferences to play in, one would consider winning it would mean that team is very likely to be a force to reckon with.

How's the Brainerd hockey team doing this year? It's really too bad that so many quality teams play in the same section.

Actually the Brainerd Hockey Team is doing well this year. They beat Rosemount, the team that is currently leading the Lake... Not sure where you were going with that one?
The rest of your post doesn't make any sense either. The top 5 teams in the Lake are split up between 3 sections... Do you mean that it's too bad that so many quality teams play in the same CONFERENCE? Also, this whole time I've never said anything about the teams in the conference being weak at all, I just said it doesn't matter if you win the best conference in the state. Ask the winner of the Lake if they'd rather go to state or win the conference, not one of them will say win the conference.
Go back to scaring little kids boogeyman.

True brainerd is doing very well.
