For those interested, the draw for the White Bear Lake peewee A tourney has been posted. The tourney will be played at the White Bear Sports Center on Feb 1-3 and as you can see from the teams entered, it is a familiar tourney. All these teams played in the Edina Tourney. The only two teams to meet in Edina pool play were Eden Prairie and Lakeville South (EP beat the South 6-2). Wayzata took second, Eden Prairie third and Edina fourth in that tourney.

White Bear Lake
Duluth East

Eden Prairie
Lakeville South

Centennial
Edina

Rochester Red
Wayzata

Cool

WBL-DE is a toss-up on paper. Winner is an underdog to either EP-L'v S, another even match.

Centennial and Rochester will try to pull upsets on the bottom half of the draw but it is pointing to a Wayzata-Edina matchup.

Odds against winning:

2:1 Edina
2:1 Wayzata
6:1 Eden Prairie
6:1 Lakeville S
25:1 White Bear Lake
25:1 Duluth East
99:1 Rochester
99:1 Centennial

Looks like a great tournament.

Thats a different way to look at this tourney. I agree with your odds. Rochester Red is a good team, but has the toughest draw. To win the tourney, they would have to beat Wayzata, most likely Edina and then the winner of the upper bracket. So although they are one of the better teams in the tourney, they are a long shot to win it.

Both WBL and Duluth East have a draw that allows them to build steam if they have improved and are playing well.
