You may be onto something.
Perhaps the Green Jacket should replaced by a slightly different model:

I have a hunch that since nobody has offered up anything insightful enough for me to go off on a rant about today, I may cross P2K with an update from the Wayzata/Anoka game tonight.

POST 2,000:
No score and six years ago, our mods brought forth, upon this continent, a new bored, conceived in liberty, and dedicated to the proposition that "all posters are created equal" – except for those who attend private schools and sit on the right side of the aisle, because they are clearly holier than thou.
Now we are engaged in a great civil war, Metro vs. Outstate, Right vs. Left, Public vs. Private, testing whether the bored nation, or any nation so conceived, and so dedicated, can long endure. We are met on a great bored of that war. We have come to dedicate a portion of it, as a final resting place for those who were banned, that the nation might live. This Lee may, in all propriety do. But, in a larger sense, we can not dedicate - we can not consecrate - we can not hallow, this ground - The brave men, living and banned, who quibbled here, have hallowed it, far above our poor power to add or detract. The world will little note, nor long remember what we say here; while it can never forget what they whined about here.
It is rather for us, the “elite” Minnhock posters, we here be dedicated to the great task remaining before us - that, from these honored banned we take increased devotion to that cause for which they here, gave the last full measure of devotion - that we here highly resolve these banned shall not have been banned in vain; that the nation, shall have a new birth of freedom, and that bored of the people by the people for the people, shall not perish from the earth.

Govs,
if you have any thoughts of attending a theater performance anytime in the near future, my advice would be to cancel. But, that's just me

Everyday, just before I log in and stain up this bored, I will stand, remove my hairpiece, face the flag, and recite Govs 2000th post.
