Edina or Burnsville is probably number one right now.

How accurate does everyone think this poll is?

not very if jefferson is that high.
On any given night . . .

This poll is not accurate in my opinion - there are teams in the middle of the pack that could be at the top if they focussed on playing hockey - too many players don't focus on hockey, they get distracted by trying to take somebody's head off.

I would argue that is part of being a good team. Sticking to playing the game and not being a goon out there. You are correct, there are a lot of teams that would have better records if they stayed out of the box.

Burnsville has slid quite a bit the last couple of games

I find it interesting that this poll, which was a while ago is pretty accurate in the sense that Edina and Jefferson still hold the number one and two spots in the standings.

yes very accurate, but edina beat jefferson so not that accurate if jefferson has 2 more votes

Considering Edina had beaten every team on that list i'd say its a clear answer, wouldn't all of you? Edina has 2 losses on the year (11-0 in tournys). Their 2 losses came against WBL and Bville. The other time they played WBL they beat them 5-0 and the other time they played Bville they won 4-1.

WBL should be above Jefferson, then we're good

They will finish above Jefferson.
I think the top ten heading into playoffs will go:
1. Edina
2. WBL
3. Jefferson
4. Wessy
5. B'ville
6. Centennial
7. EP
8. Stillwater
9. Wayzata
10. MTKA
Top 10

I'd say it's something like:
1. Edina
2. Jefferson
3. Wessy's
4. Tonka
5. WBL
6. EP
7. Burnsville
8. Centennial
9. Stillwater
10. Wayzata? Eagan? Duluth?

selfpromoter, have you looked at the standings lately?? Minnetonka will be lucky to finish 10th. They have killed themselves with lack of fair play points. And Duluth isn't even in the regional tournament-they play up north....

I'm pretty sure it's not posssible for WBL to finish that low...

6 - Burnsville
7 - Wessys
8 - Stillwater
9 - Wayzata
10 - Tonka

I know those were my personal rankings not my guess for what the Metro standings would end up. WBL clinched 2 seed and Tonka's 10/11. Maybe WBL got a lot better and I'm not giving them enough credit, but whatever.

I would agree with you except Wayzata is 8 and Stillwater is 9.

True - Wayzata 8, Stillwater 9. I didn't think Wayzata would beat Wessy's and hadn't seen the score. Wayzata really finished the regular season strong.
