Last year they were small and pathetic. What happened this year did they just renew the whole team?

Jefferson usually has a decent squad. It doesn't suprise me at all to see them doing well this year. Last year was just a bad year for them, they prolly had a young team.

They are much improved this year. I don't think that are a top dog contender, but maybe they will surprise me and be a top dog later.

Jefferson had a really young team last year....This year they have a few varsity players that should be on the team. But they are a top team this year and should be ranked 1st but they blew a 3-0 lead in the third to burnsville and tied them

Jefferson is not number one.... they've lost numerous times. As you stated they lost to Burnsville and they lost to Eden Prairie; twice.

Jefferson has only lost twice. Both loses were one goal games (1-0 and 2-1) They have improved a lot since last year. give them some credit.

I'm still giving credit to B-town. They are way better than last year. I'm just saying that saying they are number one is like calling the Minnesota Wild best in the league. Both wouldn't be true.

They tied Burnsville and played a terrible game against EP from what I hear. The other loss was in the Duluth tournament which Jefferson always plays all there players and just has fun but I will bet they will be ranked in the top 3 by the end of the year

I'll hold you to that. Look for this thread at the end of the year. Hold me to my word, too. They WILL NOT be in the top 3. And, by what standards do you think they will be third? Third in the state tourny or third in LetsPlayHockey?

Jefferson is a very skilled team, with good team speed. Although they have had some hard fought losses that does not take them out of the top team conversation. I think they very well could make a huge run at state...good luck, it is still early in the season.

Does anyone think they have any chance at state? When we played them they weren't an elite team but, they look better than last year. id like to hear from the better teams about how they have competed with them.

jefferson is good - not top three - but good. they squeeked by andover 1-0 so that makes you wonder . . .

They may have squeeked by andover but they still won. Isn't that what matters getting the win? So they played crappy a game or two but they keep getting points that add up at the end of the year.

jefferson is a very good team.... and for all the people who dont think they will be a top team in the end then you got something coming... they will be in the top 5 at least im sure of it.. they have great tending and great speed with good chemistry from everyone playing together... so they in my eyes will be a top contender

Jefferson tied Wayzata?!

Neither team played well at this game. Wayzata is better than what their record states. It looked like old school hockey out there. very physical and only one penalty between the two teams the whole game. Crappy hockey but fun to watch.

Wayzata freakin blows. Eden Prairie has already beat them three times this year...
Jefferson must have sent their B team

it looks like jefferson only has one loss in league this year, so im not sure if ep and them have been playing pond hockey games as well in order to lose to them three times, but ive been wrong before. I'm sure they lost to them in a tourny or something i guess. From what i have seen though is jefferson seems to be a very skilled team that can have trouble scoring at times. Their schedule appears to get tough soon. However it appears they are ranked 7 at the moment and have beaten three of the teams in the top 6 and yet to lose to any of them soon. It should be an interesting second half for them.

We have some pretty good insight of this team on this thread....Im guessing you all either are on the team or you go to all their games but whatever do what you gotta do if you care for the baby blue i guess haha
