Which is it harder for kids to make their association A team - as a first year Squirt or as a first year PeeWee?

peewee... checking and physical play is all I have to say on this matter.

Agreed - big adjustment for many Squirt players, of course it is tough to hit what you can't catch.

I'm gonna say Squirts and here's the reasons:

1) First time trying out
2) If you make it as a squirt, your gonna be known by the Peewee coach
3) These kids are already checking in spring, summer and fall hockey before PW tryouts
