here is mine....
1. Roseau - undefeated and defending champs, pretty obvious
2. Hill-murray - one weak loss but they beat Benilde
3. Minnetonka - we'll see what happens tonight with hill
4. Benilde - very good, eith only loss to hill in close game
5. Edina - they need to realize they are not the best and start playing like it, I think very well could end up champs but we'll see.

Indians Forever has the AA teams pegged. If you consider all teams, STA would fall in at #3.

Rams
Skippers
Cadets
Pioneers
Red Knights
Hornets

have to go with what blueblood has. should be a fun couple weeks when the cadets clash with both tonka and hill in the next couple weeks.

Hopkins would get an honorable mention from me at this point. The next couple weeks will provide better insite as they have Tonka and Edina coming up on the schedule.

Don't take this wrong, I do like your team and its potential, but ya'll havent really played anyone of a top caliber to warrent the "we're so much better than everyone else" attitude. It doesn't help that your holiday classic schedule also doesn't pit your team against quality competition. I'll be cheerin for ya along the way but I bet the bathrooms in Roseau have (or should have) air fresheners in them.

Why is everyone so high on Burnsville? I know they lost to Eagan and have lost a few others - am I missing something?

I would agree with these rankings..Ive only seen Edina play out of the 5, but it seems about right.

Great list bobber, but #3 is highly over rated. I'd put PRF there.

going with some unconventional picks:

1. Tonka- I know maybe Roseau should get this by default, by Tonka is to hot right now
2. Roseau- Solid, dedicated, loves to crush city teams
3. Edina- if they wake up, look out
4. STA- One of the most well Rounded teams I have seen all Season
5. Hill-Murray- Good depth in forwards, should make it to state

honorable mentions:

Centennial-great team, great coach, very dangerous come sections
Jefferson- Shoulda beat Roseau, beat GFRR, solidly beat Rosemount, shoulda be Burnsville......Section upset? unlikely but dont count em out

Since when is STA in AA? Until they opt up they will always be a Tier II team!

The thread is "Top 5 in state thus far......" Not top 5 AA teams, no reason to try to change the topic to something totally unrelated.
