huge game january 8 at burnsville. Two good teams that hate eachother, head to head.
Who wins?

this is definately a HUGE game. i remember from bantams that these two never had anything nice to say to each other. im hoping burnsville shows up and plays like they can. maybe have their stars have some big nights and then get just enough from everyone else. also they are a team that could get JT to worry about other things other than scoring too (nice article about him in the StarTrib today though)
im going to say...
burnsville-5
rosemount-4
this is only if becker plays and plays well.

RHS-6
Bville-4
I think both first lines will be ridiculous to watch. I believe JT is the difference maker in this game and I really believe that RHS will come out flying. If Bville stays with them then this could be a great game.

Both very good teams, but this is going to turn into a shootout and we know rosemount has more firepower

BashBrother-I dont know that Rosemount has more firepower. Yes JT is a great player and having a great season but he is about all they have. Percy and Porter are just two decent players who take advantage of playing with a playmaker like JT. Also look at Burnsville's team, Jake had 71 points last year and Tyler had 54 after a terrible first half of the season. I would say that Burnsville could match Rosemounts firepower anyday. The thing that Burnsville is missing right now is a playmaking D that will step up. People dont realize how much Franks meant to them last year. I hear alot about McDuff but he needs to play better if this team wants to go where they want to.

i hate to go against my home town but i got rhs 4 bville 2...Bvilles too thin with scott ames and chad mcduff out for at least 3 weeks.

Thats what every one said about Bville coming into the Eastview game this week. No ames, no mcduff, and the big o struggling. 2nd and 3rd lines came in and tossed 5 g's on the board and D added 2.
I think the schawns cup will get the offense going at burns.
The key for Rosemount of course is JT. If luke mcmanus does not have a good game though, Bville will run away with this one.
Prediction:
Bville:4
Rosemount:3
Branson and Hawkins get into a fight

ouch, no love for porter and percy, two of the top players in the conference

haha two of the best players in the conference!?!? how long is the list of best players in the conference?
im pretty sure burnsville plays mahtomedi in the schwans cup, but i do know that the championship of the schwans cup bronze will probably end up being EV vs Bville so that should hopefully be a better game than last time.

Your trying to argue that porter and percy are not good hockey players?
Have you ever seen them play?

I think that it will be a well fought game but i think it'll come down to the 2nd and 3rd lines showing what they can really do.

as good as burnsville is, the first line is slumping and getting burned out. The 2nd and 3rd lines are proving that they could be first lines on any other team in the metro area except for probably edina and hill.
Rosemount has a mint oppurtunity to kick Bville while they are down. Mcduff and ames doubtful for the next few weeks. King may be out for a while and #18 coming off an arm injury will be holding back for a while.
Porter and percy are great players and i think they are top 10 in the lake.

Im not trying to say that Porter and Percy are bad players at all becuase they are good but I just dont think they are as good as people think or that there stats show. They are not top 3 scorers in the Lake, that is where they are just feeding off JT. And yes Ive seen them play, Ive played against them since I was a peewee. They are good players but people think they are better because they dont know alot and just see that they have 24 and 19 points.

I think this one is going to come down to special teams. Burnsville wins 5-4.

no doubt burnsville is better

Rosemount didnt play very well against LN today but that probably had something to do with there late OT game vs Brainard yesterday. This game is still a ways away so I dont think Rosemount will still be sloppy then.
Burnsville dominated Chaska 7-1 I believe. Good game for them. Now its the Schwans Bronze division which should point straight towards another game with EV.

Burnsville Lines are starting to click. Rosemount still looking solid after mid season

Rosemount has been able to score, having trouble not stopping teams though. Burnsville is a team that can score with them. Burnsville is tough at home also.
Blaze-5
Irish-4
I think the teams will split though in the season series so whoever wins this one, I'll give the other the next game.

if both teams come to play then it should be a dog fight but burnsville has had some inconsistency this year but the key to the game is jt brown because he can take over a game but if burnsville can shut him down then they will get the win... my prediction
5-3 bville
