Good match up with a win over Moorhead last weekend East might be back on track..... and as good as the cougars are playing.... how will this game turn out?

East has been struggling to put the puck in the net recently. They can't muster up enough offense to bet a very good Centennial team.

I thought the Heritage Center wasn't going to be open for this season? They didn't get that outhouse opened up, did they?

(Spoken out of sheer jealousy because the drawings look friggin' sweet). I think the location of this game will be a huge factor...
If the Heritage Center is open:
Centennial - 4
East - 3
If it isn't open:
Centennial - 4
East -3

According to the Nov. 29th edition of the Duluth News Tribune the Heritage Center will not be open until the last two weeks of February. I can't copy and paste the whole article because it's an archive and I'm not paying $2.95 for it. But here's as much as I can see in a short preview of the article:
Duluth Heritage Sports project completion pushed back
Published on November 29, 2007, Duluth News Tribune (MN)
The completion date for the first phase of the Duluth Heritage Sports Center has been pushed back to late February, the project board's chairman said Wednesday. That means the Heritage Sports Center might not host any youth hockey games or practices this year.
Dick Loraas said Phase I is scheduled for completion during the last two weeks of February 2008. It will not be done by Dec. 28, the completion date organizers predicted in June
I might as well put my full contribution to the thread at this point.

That's not true. I've got the same pick...
I just think the order of the goals will be VASTLY different if the game is played at the DECC instead of Heritage.

Should be a good game.
Winner wins by a goal (two if an ENG is added). Too close to pick a winner.

Centennial will win with a bigger, stronger, faster attack and they'll be able to mark East's floater (which is what won the game against Moorhead)

i was at the game, what is a floater? didn't see one, goals were not floaters.
I believe East scrimmaged centennial right before the season, with Pitlick, and beat them handidly. don't count out hounds.

For my money this is East's hardest game before Edina, so I sure wouldn't be shocked by a loss. But I'll go with the home team in a crucial game for the Hounds.
And a correction: with the change of venue, this game is at 8:00, not 7:30.
Also, to answer the earlier question, a "floater" is someone who sits around the blue line waiting for a long pass so he can go on a breakaway.

Centennial loses 5-3 to Maple Grove tonight...
I will be at the Grand Rapids/Greenway vs. Duluth game at Pioneer Hall Thursday, so I will have to check things out.
Does anyone know if the DECC/Pioneer Hall has wireless internet?

To East fans (and Jefferson fans and Moorhead fans), the name Dave Spehar comes to mind here.

I don't think he ever crossed his own blueline...

Is there another game before this? Or why the late game time?
