Does anybody have a list of the iron range conference champs/co-champs for the last like 10-20 years? Or the entire history for that matter? Just though it would be somewhat interesting and may show some patterns, trends, etc.

PM Bob Lee, and he'll be sure to get you the answers on those questions. Not sure where he digs them up, but he usually seems to find them. I can get you started : Rapids was the co champs last year with Hibbing.

I have a book written by Bruce Engel, that has every stat from teams on the Iron range that goes back to 1972. I can give you as much information that you might want. It is a limited edition i purchased in 1988 at an Eveleth Varsity game.

I have that same book, but it only goes up through 1983. I think koko0011 was looking for more recent years. That is a great book, by the way. Lots of history in there...

That's a good start... that's the kind of stuff I was looking for. Amazing GR played in the state championship the last two years and Hibbing/Virginia was cochamps with them. Shows the IRC still has some depth even if some of the teams go a little unrecognized statewide due largely to single A status I am guessing. And I Falls winning two years in a row!! Can anyone take this back some more years?

Eveleth won it in 1998. They might have been co-champs with Hibbing, but I'm not positive.
