Mitchell Report Pick 'Em

I saw this idea posted elsewhere, and I thought it was so great, I'm going to steal it for here.
The George Mitchell report on performance enhancing drugs in baseball is due out before Christmas and is supposed to have both current and former players named. Let's have a "Pick 'Em" - boblee style!
Everybody picks
12 players they believe will be named in Mitchell's report. Because we don't know exactly who will be named in the report as of yet, those who have already served suspensions are ineligble - in addition, former players Jose Canseco, Raphael Palmiero, and Mark McGwire also may not be picked. We will accept those mentioned strictly for any form of steroids or HGH - any player mentioned for any other pharmaceutical does not count. A complete list of players already suspended can be found
here.
One point for each correctly identified player - most points wins.

My first pick is Stan "Dirty Needles" Lunkhead.
As seen in this photo, Stan got pretty strung out while playing bullpen catcher for the Monreal Expos in the early 90s.
Its a little known fact that he used to weigh 157 pounds and had no hair until he started injecting himself. As his nickname would inply he had constant bouts with hepatitis that kept him on the DL.
Stan will be on the list.

I have to lock my office door and leave now after reading that!
I'm still laughing...poor mis-guided Stan.
Thanks PB

My secnd choice will be no surprise to anyone.
Yes, its Jimmy "The Juice" Biggunns, the reserve , backup utility infielder who had stints with the Padres, Blue Jays , and the Leavinworth Wilcats.
He was best known for his clubhouse antics which included sticking his hand under his armpit as shown here and making fart sounds.
During his last at bat , his right arm exploded and he is currently doing a rehab assignment at Hazelden.

First off I don't think the Mitchell report will name big names, they'll just give out numbers, it's not in baseballs interset at all to give out names. Additionally the players union has said only free agents can be named, of the more than 100 players that were to have met with Mitchell only 11 are free agents and I'm sure most of them have signed to prevent being named. Also only 1 current player is known to have actually met the commission, Giambi. If you look at the list of players that were actually suspended they're minor players at best, maybe they'll be a few more of these and a couple of admitted users like Giambi, Benito Santiago, and Jason Grimsley.
Armando Rios
Benito Santiago
Jason Grimsley
Ken Caminitti
Wally Joyner
Bobby Estalla
David Segui
Paul Byrd
Jim Leyritz
Chuck Finley
Brett Boone
Kirby Puckett
Andy Petitt would make the list but he signed this week. Ivan Rodriguez and Gary Matthews Jr. would too had they not already been on teams.

Caminitti doesn't count because he already admitted to use.
Brian Roberts was another name I forgot on my "honorable" mention list.

Neutron14 will claim he's innocent

but this photo caught him working on his tan, shortly after leaving a shady west coast clinic this summer, he turned away to avoid being ID'd, but sources confirm it is indeed him

That's why he should be on the list. It wasn't stated that he couldn't be. Why not take the free points?

True - I probably could have done a better job of excluding a few players (Bonds, Caminiti) but whatever. It's a goof of a premise anyway. Good for a few laughs. I don't think winning this will hold quite the lustre of winning the Tourney Pool or other such contests.

I thought about Kirby, but I just think he's been gone too long to be able to actually confirm it in this report, so I left him off of my list.

now if it was a KFC list Kirby would certainly be top choice

This selection will be a surprise to most only because you might not suspect him just by looking at him.
But Willie "Popeye" Anvilarms has to be on my list.
This fleet , slick fielding centerfeider relied on his flexibility to stay in the league for a longer than expected career.

No list would be complete without "The Hermanator".
This whack-a-mole superstar's career was unfortunately cut short due to carpal tunnel syndrome.
