I think that the top 4 teams in this section are:
1.Roseau
2.Warroad
3.East Grand Forks
4.Crookston
Yeah I picked East Grand Forks over C-Town they really should not have won. I don't think East Grand Forks played there best. In the next game I bet E.G.F. wins. I heard that there coach skates them alot. Thats good because I hope that they are the top in there section: that would be the biggest underdog in the section.

I dont agree that Crookston played even remotely close to their best either. Like you said in another post. Good teams dont have excuses. Its what goes down when the clock is running. But if we say it your way both teams play their best... I beleive that would leave Crookston on top still. And if Crookston USED to be good, how does EGF playing a close game or beating them, make them a top contender in the section, that would mean they arent good anymore so it makes no difference. It seems to me that it just (by what your saying) that its a two man race to the championship with Roseau and Warroad. Guess we shall see on Friday if Crookston is still in this race.

MNhockeyplayer19 You might want to think about this qoute, It may prove to be helpful for you in the future.
P.S.
I'm not trying to poke fun at you. I just thought this to be a fitting qoute to cast light onto some of your previous posts.

C-town will totally destroy the Wave next time they play. EGF Greenwave cannot muster a big enough sunami to sink the Pirate ship. It will be calm sea's for the Pirates in that game.....

1. Roseau
2. Warroad
3. East Grand Forks
4. Crookston
its gonna be a close section...
crookston and roseau went into overtime and roseau came out with the win.. 4-3
while east grand and roseau played and it was a complete blow out (8-2 or something) . and when crookston went to play east grand, the east grand girls out played crookston. but lost 4-2.
Crookston lost to warroad 2-7... and east grand lost to warroad 0-2..
this section has seen there share of unexpected scores, i think it will be interesting.

!. Warroad
2. Crookston
3. Roseau
4. EGF
Yes I did put C-Town in front of Roseau even though they defeated the Pirates 4-3 in OT. Crookston outshot Roseau 39-15 in the game and deserved a better fate. Not to take anything away from a good Roseau effort. Congratulations to EGF on elevating your play this season,it is great to see another team pushing the big 3. The Eastsiders are still 1 to 2 seasons off from being where they need to be. To rate EGF any higher than 4 until they beat one of the top 3 is pure insanity.

I don't mean to pick at something thats done and gone but I was wondering if EGF really did out play Crookston. I simply ask because when talking to some people from town I heard that EGF was outshot nearly 2:1. If anyone can prove or disprove that please do.

Thanks for the reply hockeyperson, but i still have a tough time understanding how EGF could outhustle and not have enough control of the game to close the gap on shots.
well hopefully i'll be able to catch the next time these two teams play. If all this hype about EGF is real it ought to be a good game.

The EGF coaches quotes have been intersting in the GF Herald. They have been passing the puck better and being less "selfish". Thing is, they have also not been scoring many goals. Loss to Moorhead and a 2-0 win over a very subject Detroit Lakes team. Maybe it has to do with his comment about his goalie "made some good saves and
got lucky on a few".
Crookston, Warroad, and Roseau have their work cut out for them. You don't want to finish 2 or 3 in the section and have to play each other. Very evenly matched.

Warroad? Roseau? EGF? Crookston?

Sounds like sour grapes!!!Maybe you could be a little more positive as I feel the wave coaches have done an excellent job this year!!!

To Be Honest, I do not understand how EGF gets all this hype about beating these top ranked teams like Crookston, Roseau, Warroad... They do bring it when it comes to Game time, but last time I checked they are still losing and Roseau has wooped them there and Home along with Warroad, although Warroad was a little closer of a game. Also, they had an unfortunate weekend in the Roseau Holiday Classic so I hear, so before we say they are going to beat Crook, I think they should get the basics down.......
