I think Slap Shot 2 gives Caddyshack 2 a run for it's money. Both were horrible.Govs93 wrote:Anybody ever see Slap Shot 2? Mrs. Govs thought she was doing me a favor a couple of years ago when she was wandering through the store, found it on DVD and bought it for me. If you haven't seen it, the plot is very close to D2 - but with blood and cursing. It is so, so sad. The premise is absolutely ridiculous.
I would say that if it weren't for Caddyshack 2, Slap Shot 2 would be the worst sequel in the history of movies.
C'mon, what didn't you like about the Hanson's winning the lotto and buying the team? Or a cupie doll woman coach for that brass bunch of yahoos? You didn't like all the Ivy Leaguers pretending to be hockey players? Seriously, agreed one of the worst ever. At least Caddy II was somewhat realisticState Champ 97 wrote:I think Slap Shot 2 gives Caddyshack 2 a run for it's money. Both were horrible.Govs93 wrote:Anybody ever see Slap Shot 2? Gotta love the courthouse scene filmed in St. Cloud.
I don't think so. I think the hockey scenes were shot at Parade, Coon Rapids, and New Hope.ap4mvp wrote:I haven't watched the first one in a while but one of my friends told me it was film at the National Hockey Center is this true?Goldy Gopher wrote:It's got to be the first one.BladeButter44 wrote:What do you think?

Not true. The championship game was filmed at New Hope, you can see the NH on the wall during the pre-game.ap4mvp wrote:I haven't watched the first one in a while but one of my friends told me it was film at the National Hockey Center is this true?Goldy Gopher wrote:It's got to be the first one.BladeButter44 wrote:What do you think?
