A big game for both teams. It will be played on Dec. 7 at Burnsville. Who's gonna win this thriller?

EDINA ALL THE WAY. They will dominate this game, B'Ville is good, but Edina will destroy the Blaze...5-1

Doubt that. Should be a good game. Edina has more depth and better goalie. The game should be close.

The game wont be close. Edina wins this one in a laugher. Did anyone else see Burnsville play this weekend?

Burnsville only lost to Edina by one goal last year, and that was before they put together the first line of Barnes, Hendo, and Perisic. Also, Bville is bringing back the same team minus 4 players. Bville wins 4 to 2

Bville is bringing back the big guns! this weekend was only their first time playing together this year. we'll see whose laughing at the end of the game!

I'll take the Hornets here, could prove to be interesting game to watch, with good talent on both sides.

Their biggest guns were playing in the Elite League together leading up to the high school season.

i think everyone is underestimating the talent of Bville. The offense will be clicking by this game and there will be some pissed of ediners. Bvilles goalie isnt as bad as people think. Prediction:Bville5 Edina 3
Barnes 3 goals

It will be a nice opportunity for Edina to temper the full crowning of the Blazes stars Barnes and Hendo. I expect Burnsville will attempt to play physical with Edina and soon find out how big Edina is. Elite league stats are simply that. Real team hockey is being played now. It was a nice run....
Edina wins 6-2.

And what? Edina lost all their guns? Besides Reber and Brehm, everyone stayed - and they picked up a guy named Anders Lee.
So Burnsville's first line might try to match up with Edina's first... Then what? Edina arguably has the most depth in the state. Their constant use of three lines will keep their BIGGER guns fresh.
Not a close game. Edina (5) Burnsville (1).
Shots Edina 40 Burnsville 10

i think it will be a competitive game. If burnsville has 33 in goal they have a chance. Just like last year, against holy angels they faced 50 shots and only put on 20, but the hot goalie kept them in it.

ozzdan-when you say burnsville goaltending isnt as bad as people think, who are you talking about? sturly, benedict or wisc. kid?

Totally Agreeing with Walter Sojack. BVille may have that top line, but Edina has two arguably three lines just as good as BVille's first line.
My prediction Edina will throw a lot of pucks on net, but the Blazes goalie will play good and keep the game fairly close at 4-2 Edina taking it.

Edina's top line is better as it is plus they have better goaltending so I have the Hornets over the Blaze 3-1.

burnsville lost there only two players who could play defense from last year and one of them was a goalie, they will not be able to stop edina's top line

well actually i think burnsville has 3 solid defenders this year with Anderson, Mcduff, and some other guy who i cant remember. but there third line of D is just disgusting to watch... what is gonna kill burnsville is there goalie. they have 4 goalies, from what i understand they are all about equal in skill, maybe some a little better than the others at certain things, but none of them are anything special... if only burnsville had a goalie i would feel alot more comfortable with them as a whole
