Ness by far, I heard he is accelerating classes and trying to be at the U next year. Is that true? Would he be able to win Mr. Hockey if this is his Junior and Senior year?

Ness best player in the state...........maybe. By far, that is ridiculous. You may want to get you head out of the sand. Can't eat much turkey with your head in a hole.

I wouldn't even say Ness is the best defenseman in the state...Gleason is more physical a better skater and just as much of a playmaker as Ness, whoever leads their team farther i think wins this argument

Is that why Ness was called up to play with USA Team against a few college teams this fall while Gleason was playing back in MN playing Elite League games? Cause God knows USA Hockey doesn't want to put the best players they can on their team.

Ness is a better overall player (particularly in his own zone) and has way better hockey sense than Gleason.

Ness already led his team to a state championship while Gleason couldn't even lead a LOADED Edina team out of its own section. So much for your argument.

I have also heard Ness took an accelerated schedule through this summer in preperation for the U in the 08/09 season. Didn't Hagemo do the same thing, or was he going to the U as post secondary. Either way I am sure Hagemo played at the U a year early.

I think Ness is a great player too but..Geez, I thought Edina played in the state tourney last season. Isn't Gleason a UND recruit I thought that was a WCHA school. Gopher Blog your Maroon & Gold glasses and bias almost makes a guy puke. In other words YES (I can give a absolute answer unlike you) your sickening.

You are right. I mixed up Holy Angels with Edina. My mistake.

Even with that, we saw who got further.

BTW, if you think I am biased, that is fine. But you cannot argue with the fact that USA Hockey sees Ness as being the better player.

US Hockey Report also rated Ness as a better player than Gleason at Selects this past summer. You can dismiss my remark as bias if you wish but it isn't quite that easy to dismiss the unbiased opinions of the two sources I just mentioned. 8)

I am not even sure Gleason is the best d-man in his own conference. Jake Gardiner is looking better these days (hey, I must be biased for UW too since he is a UW recruit, right!? LOL)
In other words YES (I can give a absolute answer unlike you) your sickening.
Are you one of the rubes who need everything spelled out for them with 100% clarity in order to understand person's opinion?

We all have our biases in life. You included. Get off your high horse.

Speaking of High Horses. First, I don't really care who USA Hockey picked doesn't matter to me. Second, I also don't care who is rated higher by whomever doesn't matter to me either. Third, your constant Gopher SPIN is what gives a person heartburn. Finally, I don't need to expound and dance around a subject to make my opinion known. These are all good kids playing a great game. It's people like you who want to rate this guy better than that guy and play these kids off one another that are the real detriment. Clear enough?

This thread is a joke that's why I tossed in the picture of the best player I've seen.

If you don't like opinions on players/teams/hockey, you picked a hell of a place to come to.

Hopefully this isn't a news flash to you (although I am starting to wonder) but this is a place for such commentary. If it bothers you so much that you have to whine about opinions on a board MEANT for exchanging opinions, then maybe you need to go somewhere else?

Nobody forced you to read this. So why whine over it?

Clear enough?

Then what do you care about? Because those seem to me like the only two opinions that really matter when comparing one player to another.

By the way, very relevant point when you brought up Holy Cross, seeing as how they have so much to do with who the best player in the state is.

Gee...another rodent pops out of their hole showing his quality education.

I didn't name a "best player" because each position has its own qualities. I think the best player in the state may be Mike Lee. There now you have it.

You're right, quality of education has a lot to do with missing a key while typing.

I thought you were a guy who could give an "absolute answer"? So much for that big talk.

When your trying to troll somebody and you louse it up, it does make for easy pickings.

Where'd you go Blogger....run and hide to think how to carve somebody...can't stand toe to toe and you even have to get a buddy involved. Some hockey players you are.
