I guess two questions are being asked here. To rank the sections, and to say which team is most likely to have a state caliber team not go...

Only one can go of...

Moorhead, Roseau

Edina, AHA, Burnsville

Rapids, CEC, DE, Anoka, ER

But if you rank the sections as TOUGHEST, 8AA is not number 1 or 2, and probaboy not #3

Boblee is right. Roseau and Moorhead are top caliber teams but the section as a whole is not very deep.

Brainerd maybe ahead of Moorhead this year.
And Buffalo will have a decent team.

Go ahead and jump, Slappy.
Moorhead will not be back to state for 6 or 7 years.
Bemidji will be there before the puds (not a misspelling). :D

Its 2AA and everybody else.

Between Burnsville, Edina, Jefferson and AHA , there has to be 20 championships and all of those programs are still very viable and will have good teams this year.

Are the semis played on the same night?

Hmmm...not so sure about that. Seems Buffalo defeated DE last season and then was pummelled by Moorhead who then lost to Roseau...not to mention Brainerd has joined in along with tech to make the Section all that much tougher...

The 3AA is a joke AV is just going to have another bad year and with eagan losing dockendorf and the rest of the seniors they in my opinion don't have even close to a chance this year it's either Rosemount, Cretin, or Woodbury

What about 3A I actually have not even heard of half of these teams. Is this section a joke or what??
