How do the triple AAA teams pick goalies? (MM, The Blades etc)
I see and hear a lot about tryouts for the skaters, but the goalie portion of the team is sort of a mystery.

Or is it one of those things....if you have to ask, don't bother.

As much as I know about the sport, I've gotta confess I'm with you. Any evaluation I would do of goaltenders would be subjective. I'm curious to hear other answers.

its easy during the winter months you watch the goalies play from all over the place you write down or contact them right at the game if you like what you see. you also use word of mouth from people you know.
