Heard there was a weekend where some top Peewee A teams were playing, does any one know about this and how to get a team in this?

Be sure it gets registered as a tournament, or check with DD to assure it is not a tournament.

Yeah, it would be pretty easy to blow the 4 hour rule if you just assume its a jamboree or you aren't aware of the rules.

Hi - What's the potential problem here? My understanding is that a few teams will get together to play some scrimmages. There are no crossover games... What could happen?

Thanks in advance for any explanation...

There is a 4hr break between games and I'm pretty sure there are no problems with a few scrimmages between teams is there.

Get a MN Handbook (available on-line).
Go to the section of tournament definition.
Compare these scrimmages to the definition.
Also, I would call teh District Tournament Director and get that person interpretation.

Just some teams getting together at one site could be deemed to be a tournemant. (I have been burned on that one).

Just trying to help keep people out of harms way. :)

The teams for the "Pre-Season Scrimmage Fest"
At least that is what I am labeling it.....are:

Andover
Apple Valley
Bloomington Jefferson
Burnsville
Centennial or Coon Rapids
Duluth East
Lakeville South
Rosemount

Scrimmages are 2 for each team on Friday and 2 for each on Saturday.
The majority of the scrimmages are at MN Made in Edina.

Could very well be a tournament by definition.
Register it or at least inquire.

Minnesota Hockey has given permission to this event.

Elliot70 your right it was very close to being a tournament but was deemed not due to the fact some teams will be hosting their own games on their own ice plus no crossover games.

I'm sure that AV / Lakeville game was a solid one.

Anodver beat Rosemount just before the above game.

Apple Valley beat Rosemount 5-0

Av/Lakeville South game was awsome up and down pace. Lvs has 3 great players #7,#8,#9 pretty fun to watch AV has a pretty solid team top to bottom. Like to see these to teams play again!

Can someone list all of the scores for the scrimmages that started @ MM last Friday?

SLP/SW Coach seems to have the pulse of all that went on.
