Hey everyone, just seeing what everyones thoughts are on the upcoming season, just a few questions to throw out:

How will the Wild be this season?

Will Gaborik actually play the whole year?

Does Crosby lead the league in scoring and more importantly, the Pens deeper into the playoffs?

How bout the new Uni's tha everyone's sporting?

Who's the team to beat?

Wild should be decent. They are big and fast. They have two good goalies. I liked what I saw in Grand Forks.

Gaborik probably won't make it through the whole season.

Crosby will lead the league in points and the Pens will go deeper into the playoffs.

The new jerseys are OK, that's it.

Team to beat is obviosuly the defending champs Anaheim. But I like Buffalo too.

The Wild will have a good year. Gaborik, Dimitra and whoever will be dominating all year. Rolston, Bouchard, Belanger should be one of the best 2nd lines in the league. Bouchard is gaining more confidence every game and is using pond-hockeylike moves out there. Belanger is a big upgrade over a fading Todd White. That still leaves one of the best shut-down lines in the league with Koivu, Branko, and usually Parrish. On D, Burns has turned from a boy into a man almost overnight and has become the top defenseman on this team. Not much defensive scoring but pretty solid defense (Hill will add some needed toughness). Backstrom is outstanding with a solid backup in Harding. The western Conference has about 10 teams pretty equal, and only 8 make the playoffs but I think, barring major injuries, the Wild will be a top 3 team in west and should win their division.

Improving teams: St. Louis, Chicago, Los Angeles
Sliding: Edmonton, Dallas, Nashville

Crosby should win the scoring title and he keeps getting surrounded by better players so the Penquins will be fun to watch for years.

The new jerseys, for some teams, look like pajamas (Like the old school Capitals.) You know it's a marketing thing for Reebok to limit only 2 jerseys per team. (Think 3rd jerseys will be coming soon for more sales?)
