Which One Would YOu Watch More?

It isn't possible for this to ever happen (I don't think) but Minnesota-Scores had an interesting poll topic this week. It asked, if all of these teams were playing on TV at the same time which one would you watch more? Regular Season games only. Assuming most of us would flip back and forth between two or more. What is your vote?

I chose Vikings, only because of the length of the season. If the Twins or Wild only played 16 games a season, it would be a tougher choice, but because it's the Vikes who do, you have to watch when you can.

Same logic I had on this one. Who would have thought a City Boy and a Northern Boy could see eye to eye on two different things in the same day.

I see there is a vote for other. Not sure what that would be. Maybe golf or something.

Nice to see that my vote for "Other" sparked a little chat...heh heh.
I wouldn't have to vote that way if you'd included Bulldog Hockey but I guess it isn't a sport to those living south of Forest Lake.
And I think Mitch would be looking for Bucky Hockey as an option.

Well, Minot State thinks they do.
So that makes the Beavs 1 and 0 against D2 teams.
They lost their first game of the year to a should be D1 team.
It is the U of M after all.

UMD does not have a good football team, so the Beavers just must be poor as well. The Dogs got shallacked by a Missouri school on Saturday...

Actually, over the last ten years with Coach Tesch the Beavers have proven to be a very good football team at their level of competition.
And they use a lot of northern MN, eastern ND, and upper Mich. northern WI kids in their mix. Of course there are Twin City and out of state kids, too. But some programs are a roster of Florida, Texas or you-name-it non-Minnesota (area) kids.

And tUMD has a long tradition of quality football. Playing tough competition from outside and losing is not a terrible thing. Not enough reason to call a program poor.

elliott, I agree in full on both accounts. It just does not appear that either team will pose a big threat this year...at least with what I have seen/heard early on.

Yes, I understand what you are saying, but I believe both will have winning records this year. And in football to go 7 and 3 could get you to a bowl. Last year the Beavers had a bowl game and it was a pretty big deal for the college. Not like going to the NCAA D1 hockey, but it generated a lot of excitement.
