You are one excited coach, man your team is lucky to have you. And think of all the communities that still have open coaching positions - what is up with that?

I'm excited as lots of young kids and will be fun to see where we get by year end. Lot of work to do and we'll face a lot of more experienced teams & some dues to pay but we'll see! I had a team like this a few years back too but changed jobs before I got to see it through - hopefully this time I will!

Re: open coaching positions I bet many of them are filled now but jsut not officially announced to us?

I think many hit it hard come the last month or so, but many have been running Captians for a while too I'd guess? I was told that some had their first captains practice the last Sun in July this year - it just seems to start earlier & earlier.

Is there any kind of a limit on how many a school can schedule, or a rule as to when they can start?

My daughter has 3 games left in the BAGEL league, and a tournament, but I know she's looking ahead to the 29th.

We're down to 6 days and this entire board has been pathetic! If JustAGuy wasn't showcasing EP...there'd be nothing.....even the 1A guys are quiet....on second thought I guess that's ok!

Where's GHS?

JustAnEP/KennedyGuy's posts on how talented his squad is is starting to make me miss all the comments about how all the west metro teams are the best.

Maybe we do need more comments about how the Albert Lea team is all familially-related.

I knew I'd start something! :D

I am amazed at how little chatter there is....the showcase league finished up this weekend...figured someone (i.e. winners) would have shared the results....but not a thing!

Must be waiting for the BAGEL league, and the SSM tournament to end.
