With Hiracio's ERA, I'm guessing we top out at 2 runs tonight. I hope I'm wrong.

Your wildly aggressive optimism is the kind of support this team needs down the stretch, bob. Bleed the blue & red, my friend!

2 runs?
In other words, you must figure the game is gonna go 16 innings. :)
All jokes aside, a sweep would sure come in handy about now.

for the twins or against them. If they do get swept maybe the team can stop being delusional and think they can make the playoffs. It's over for the twins

No, it's probably not realistic. But neither was making it last year. Yes, last year we concluded with a cake schedule and this year we won't. Yes, we were 70-50 (around there) this time last year, not 60-60, etc, etc. But they're still our team, still only a few games out, and still have a chance.

Here is an idea...stop giving up gopher balls. Keep the ball down.

Twins up 4-0 in the 1st with a grand slam by Cuddyer. That's the help Silva needs. Now it's just smooth sailing.

Change that. 7-0 after 1.

8-0 after 2.

Silva's pitching a 1 hitter after 3 for him.

8-0 after 3.5 innings. Silva has 3 hits, no runs, and no walks.

Punto's avg is down to .200, I wonder what it'll take to take him out of the lineup.

Only 6 games behind. A Detroit win puts us at 6.5, Cleveland win at 7. We need to win the Baltimore series.

I believe a Tiger win would keep us at six. A Cleveland win would keep us at 6.5

This is true.
