If you haven't seen this flick yet, it's highly recommended (by me and....uhh....others).

Here's a sampling of what's in store (strong content & language advisory, blah blah)

Ever get those laughs where you laugh to the point where there's no sound coming out? I think it was the first one I experienced since Bruce Almighty.

my sons and friends saw this movie and came home saying they had to see it again. New summer cult movie?

I have not seen "Superbad" or "Knocked Up" but if they're as good as the "40 Year Old Virgin" I'm all in. If I'm not mistaken, there are a core group of guys that were involved in all three films.

And if you want to go further back, those same guys were involved in one of the best shows ever, "Freaks & Geeks", that's worth checking out too.

Yeah I went to the library and checked out the entire series of Freaks and Geeks. The first few episodes were prime but it slowly drops off after that then picks up. To watch a whole season/series of something takes some major dedication let me tell you.

The various unit drawings were the best part after the police officers. Those two could come out with their own show.

By far the funniest movie I've seen in a long time. One thing I noticed, too, is that it's almost 2 hours long, which most comedies aren't.

I was a little curious how someone got it when it just got out in the theaters. Well, even more reason to pay for the ticket.

Are you guys kidding me? Super Bad was super bad. I don't know who finds entertainment in poor recycled sex jokes. You might as well watch Mean Girls. There are a handful of other ones too, and these movies are all perfect blends of high school, comedy, and softcore porn. Sure the X rated scenes are sugar coated with kids and unintelligent humor, but the messages and plots are all the same.

I give the movie one eighth of a thumb up just because the cops were halfway funny. But the plot and rest of the movie were horrible. McLovin is lucky I didn't attend that school, I would have shoved him in his locker and closed it.

I'm down with some unintelligent guy humor as much as anyone else, but let's find some actual funny actors with original story lines.

High school was the best time of my life. Well I liked Jr. High better, but I think of the two as the same. I was just expressing my opinion, and I personally would rather watch a funny movie, and then a porno, rather than mix the two and sacrifice some funniness and some X rated action to make room for 2 in 1.

You don't know who finds entertainment in this movie? Try:

1. Movie critics from the Chicago Sun-Times, Entertainment Weekly, Los Angeles Times, New York Times, Rolling Stone, TV Guide, USA Today, Variety and Village Voice who gave the movie a combined grade of A

2. The 28.000+ viewers who saw the movie and have given it a high enough rating to place it squarely in the Top 250 movies of all time (at imdb.com)

So....who's opinion to place more weight on? Yours or theirs? Gee, tough call.

Hey, you're entitled to your opinion, even when it's severely wrong.

So what are comedies that you do like? Because this is about as good as it gets.
