I would say STA,Totino,Mahtomedi and SSP are the top 4 no?Is it STA's to lose,or could Totino,SSP or Mahtomedi make a run?

I think the only team that could possibly contend with St. Thomas is Totino

It would be quite a toss up between STA and Totino considering that both have taken considerable losses. Totino lost numerous seniors and are left with few Guns while STA lost some guns as well. STA might have the section but there not safe. Mahtomedi and Totino aren’t going to be rollovers! Mahtomedi has a nack for creating upsets too!

ya, i would say this section went from being an afterthought for the cadets on their trip to state, now with all the losses they have sustained, (crandall, larson, lee, walters) things could be much harder. this section is wide open imo.

I would say it will be hard for STA to win 4A when they are in 3A.

STA is in 4A for the 2007-2009 assignment period. Other teams include:
Chisago Lakes
Mahtomedi
Minnehaha Academy
Simley
SSP
Spring Lake Park
Totino
Saints
MPA
Ok, it isn't exactly WIDE open, but its between mahtomedi, totino, and sta.
And I was under the impression that Walters was going to NTDP U-17. But I could (and hope) I'm wrong. Didn't he have a tryout?

Nick Mattson was the only one that acceptted the invite, I don't think Walters was ever on the final list. According to a family friend he would have went had he been invited.
And I was under the impression that Walters was going to NTDP U-17. But I could (and hope) I'm wrong. Didn't he have a tryout?

you cannot leave ssp out of this too i heard there going to be a tough team this year but for right now sta is going to be hard to beat but they did lose alot of good players, mahtomidi and totino have good shots too
