All I can say as an admittant fair weather fan is --"Good luck K.G.-hope you get a title-you were a class act in a sport with a bunch of thugs"-I believe that with twittman and Mchales navy at the helm this ship is bottoming out and it sickens me to watch it-and I probably wont--glad hockey season is coming up.
 Comments?

There used to be one reason to go to a TWolves game.

Now, I cant think of any.

I couldn't force myself to go when they had him [-( I used to think that every game could be determined by the ref. even when I played some rec. ball as a kid, now after the Tim Donaghy thing it looks like I was right all along :D

If we couldn't win games WITH one of the games' all around best players, how are we going to do it WITHOUT him?

Glad to see him go where he has a shot at a title because the nitwits here were never gonna get him one again. Just wish it would have been last year or 2 years ago when we could have gotten even more for him. Not bad getting that kind of return for him and he should eat PFs in the East for breakfast for a couple years at least. Let's hope McHale doesn't screw up this rebuilding thing too badly.

Seems like a Minnesota tradition to let good athletes get away by not paying them enough or by not surrounding them with help. Guess we were in good fortunes to hold on to Puck as long as we did. Next we will lose Torii Hunter and Morneau. Mauer may stay because he's a Minnesota boy, but I imagine that Gaborik (not that it would necessarily be a bad thing) and any other good player will leave. Sorry, not drawing too many names of great athletes at the pro level in our state at the moment. We have a few on the Twinkies, none on the Timberwolves, Possibles on the Vikes, and a few that are sometimes and aren't the rest of the time on the Wild.

That's okay though, at least we have college sports, though I still think it's dumb do lose a class act and great player like KG.

Whats up with all the Minnesota teams trading all these good players or letting them go? David Ortiz? Daunte and Randy? we got a SECOND round draft pick for daunte. for randy we pretty much got troy williamson n napealon harris who dosent even play for us anymore. they let go ortiz well he was crap with us anyway. they should have sent him down to the minors or somthin. I probly could name some more too

It's so true. Santana seems like he'll be the first to go because he's done what KG never did. KG has always been loyal to the state, never asked to be traded, never would, but was always disappointed about the support he got. Now Santana's complaining and people aren't getting the point. They may not be in charge, but when your highly paid athletes complain you try to help it. Just like in a business, your biggest client may not work for you, but if they complain about something, it gets changed.
