Twins are off and running. Mauer drives in two in the first inning of game one of the doubleheader. 2-0, top 1, no one out.

Looks like someone pee'd in the Twins Wheaties this morning. Good!

Baker waited all the way to the second inning before imploding.

Kubel Slammer.
Even Baker can't give that many back. Can he?

Let's hope not! However, this game has the feel of one of those 15-14 slugfests. Which means the evening game will be a 1-0 pitching duel because all the bats are tired.

D-Day is now pitching for the Sox. Things have picked up for the man since his time at Faber college.
18-8
Sox pitchers have thrown 153 pitches through 7. 4 errors to boot. Ozzie is going to nuts after this one.

Kubel is up with the bases loaded again. He already has 6 RBI's.
Can he?

They wouldn't pitch to him. Walked him for his 7th rbi.

20-14, AJ batting with the bases loaded. I can't look.

Looking at the box score, I would say the Twins have one of the best slow-pitch teams in the league.
Way to hit the boofin ball.

20-14 would be a good Viking game.

I doubt they'll score neither 20 nor 14 in any game this season.

I think we'll be looking at a low scoring affair tonight.

And a solo in the third. He's warming up for the derby.
Followed by Torii dinging one as I was typing.
5-0 Twins

Cuddy joins the fun. Finally.
Garza is pitching well, 6-0 after 5 with 6 K's. His batting is not so good though. Tough spot for him.

And another in the seventh! 2 run shot this time!
First Twin to have three in a game since Oliva in "73".
Thats
9 rbi's on the day for Justin.

Cirillo joins in on the fun with a three run shot! Now 11-0 Twins.
Screw that small ball, this is fun.

This has been a very interesting day in the State of Baseball.
I can't wait for Ozzie's postgame press conference.
